Azadi

Youngster Azadi from Zürich Switzerland likes to combine groovy, spacey and deep sounds into a unique mix of fun and magical moments. Born in Damascus as a Kurd and raised in Switzerland, it is almost in the nature of Azadi to blur boundaries. He found access to music at the age of 11 through breakdancing. During this time he learned to deal with music, to understand it and to have fun with it.

When he finally learned to produce at 16 and then to DJ at 18, he found his fortune in the world of electronic music. In 2015 he then founded the event label "HS12" together with friends and thus built another way of building a community that is enthusiastic about music. In the meantime he has been allowed to play at various festivals and clubs such as the St.Gallen Openair, Vibez Festival, The Lake, Hive Klub, Photobastei, Klub Ludwig and many other places in and around Switzerland. Since 2020 he has also released his own productions on labels such as Bunte Kuh, Midtown House NYC and Hotwire.

The next few releases are already in the pipeline for 2020 and 2021. Azadi’s music is always surprising and cross-genre. Groove and that certain something are important to be able to create moments in music. After all, music is there to trigger something in people and to bring joy.
