Birds ov Paradise is an electronic music project by David Sabel, a sound artist and musician from Gothenburg, Sweden. He is a part of the Hypnus records family and also have releases on other labels such as Aniara Records, Jens Records, Konstrukt and Manjumasi.
As a live-act he creates deep-techno with the use of analog machines, modulars, samplers and Bass-guitar. The sets are composed as sonic journeys with the intention to tell a story. Every set has it own drama that is 50% composed and 50% improvised. Drone, noise, deep-techno, downtempo, idm, and dungeon-synth.
Apart from a passion for making sound installations and building experimental instruments, he also plays bass with Anna von Hausswolff, Writes for his band “Bada” and composes music for contemporary dance performances and theatre.
