Boi Wonder

Boi Wonder produces electronic club music with an RnB feel. Think: Mount Kimbie or Burial, with flavors of James Blake and The Weeknd. All music is written and recorded by Maxiem Charlier and Jelle Lisson in a studio at the majestic beguinage of Sint-Truiden, a Unesco World Heritage site. On stage, the productions take an alternative turn, with live vocals (Stijn Gielen - Johnny Berlin) and live drums (Jan Haspeslagh - Ozark Henry), constantly hovering between a band performance and a dj set.

A single ‘Living Room’ was released October 29, 2018, covered by digital media and immediately picked up by Belgium’s finest national radio station, Radio 1. This autumn, a debut EP will be dropped by Pelican Fly, the legendary Brussels-based label that launched the prolific careers of internationally renowned electronic artists like Cashmere Cat, Sinjin Hawke and Canblaster. First single ‘Whispers’ is a moody, almost tropical track, scrubbed with piercing 808’s, floaty ad libs and anxious steel drums.
