Taking his inspirations from musicians as diverse as The Prodigy, Timbaland or Gesaffelstein, David has achieved a unique musical style. Think of heavy techno as the underbelly, sizzling electro as the heart and leftfield pop-music as the soul. All of this is held together by his own musical vision. Sounds underground? Well, David is anything but mainstream – but he is about to go mainfloor.
Until early 2019, David was somewhat of a DJs’ producer. His intriguing productions that added mundane mystery to a straight techno-vibe were loved by a select few and played on dancefloors all over the world. But then, Davids track “Ghost Trance” was scheduled for release on Huntleys & Palmers, and that changed everything. Getting picked up and played out by the big names, the track could be heard on almost every dancefloor from São Paulo to Sydney and from New York to Nürnberg.
DJ’s like Peggy Gou, Roman Flügel, Dixon, Kornél Kovács and Solomun turned the tune into their favourite hidden weapon and thanks to that support, “Ghost Trance” was picked by mixmag‘s “Big Tunes” section as number one, compa- ring it to “2019’s answer to Roman Flügel’s Geht’s Noch?”. As a DJ, David mixes techno with house and electro – and has been doing so alongside artists like Len Faki, Jennifer Cardini, Tijana T, Rødhåd, DJ Tennis, Adriatique, Massimiliano Pagliara, Konstantin Sibold, DJ Seinfeld, Solomun and many more.
