Forniva

orniva is a music producer & Dj from Sarajevo, based in Valencia, Spain. Known for its signature sound which is a mixture of deep, tech, and melodic elements.

With releases on highly respected record labels such as MoBlack Records, Selador, and Buttress. His music gained support by Âme, Sasha, Solomun, Maceo Plex, Damian Lazarus, Jonh Digweed, Butch, Karmon, Loco Dice, Nicole Moudaber, Kölsch, Dixon, Agents Of Time, Dubfire, WhoMadeWho, Eelke Kleijn, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, D-Nox, Inellea ao.

At the start of 2016, he started work as a resident DJ and event planning manager of Bosnia's most famous underground club Silver & Smoke. Through the years the club became a synonym for quality underground sound. Some of the most notable events there were played by tastemakers like HOSH, Eelke Kleijn, Patrice Baumel, Edu Imbernon, Traumer, Brigado Crew, Quivver, Yokoo, Cid Inc, BOg, Third Son. Forniva had the honor to share the decks with all of them.

Besides the residency in his hometown, he played all over the Balkans in famous clubs like Carpe Diem (Hvar, Croatia), Ambasada Gavioli (Izola, Slovenia), Mladost (Belgrade, Serbia), Aquarius (Zagreb, Croatia), Crkva (Rijeka, Slovenia) SoundFactory (Zagreb, Croatia) RatCat Tunel (Sibenik, Croatia) Monokel (Ljubljana, Slovenia).

He also play on various regional festivals like Freshwave, Festival 84, and Garden of Dreams where he shared the decks with Henry Saiz, Guy J, Jeremy Olander, Oxia, and Olderic to name a few. In the summer of 2019, he played Exit Festival's Dance Arena together with Solomun, Tale Of Us, Adriatique, and Satori.

This event was a definite highlight of Forniva's DJ career and was a huge inspiration for the following two years in which he worked on his first studio album together with his friends and frequent studio collaborators Sonic Union (London, United Kingdom) and Eleven Sins (Eindhoven, Netherlands). The album consisted of 10 tracks and was released on London-based Lowbit Records and received great reactions from the crowd and the music industry.

In March of 2022, Forniva moved to Valencia and focused more on working with various artists on Lowbit Records where he is the current manager of the Artists & Repertoire department. With a lot of new projects in the pipeline and fresh upcoming music, the future looks bright.
