Founded in late 2004, Hamburg-based label liebe*detail has become internationally known for releasing high-quality, versatile and genre-defying electronic music, ushering a new generation of deep-house, deep-techno and electronica producers into the core of the scene.

A definite expression of their love (or 'liebe' in german) for the dancefloor, as well as the love of detailed and deep club music, label owners Meta.83 and Eurokai couldn't have found a better suited name for their very personal venture. Hinting at the art of omission, of more and not less, and thus at the label's central philosophy, we find countless examples of their ethos while looking through the generous back-catalogue.

Varied and full of expression, liebe*detail's eclectic look at house and techno is presented on split-artist 12'' releases, where established artists are often backed by more up-and-coming talents; where bona-fide A side floor-rockers are paired with B sides of beautifully meandering, extended deep-masterpieces.

Artists like Matthias Meyer, KiNK, Move D, Serafin, Lawrence, Gabriel Ananda, Efdemin, Ed Davenport, Daniel Stefanik, Ripperton, Nick Höppner, Vincenzo, Sven Weisemann, Jichael Mackson, Spencer Parker, Lovebirds, Adam Port, Argy, Langenberg, Wareika, Lee Jones, Tiger Stripes and many more have all brought their luxurious sounds to the label, or one of its sub-labels, like "liebe*detail spezial", focusing on full artist EPs and remixes, "liebe*detail digital" - the exclusive digital imprint or re-issue platform "liebe*detail limited".
