Butterscotch Girl

SLT033 marks the first release of 2021 for label boss Company Is Family. Butterscotch Girl is a five-track EP, and includes fine remixes from DJ Linus, DarranNugent and Øscillate favourite Arron Hunter.

First up, the original. A broken beat carries this beauty along, with rising leads and hypnotic melodies throughout. The percussion runs tight in and the vocal atmospheres build into perfect breaks and drops. This is a perfect tune for building tension and keeping classy. The extended version means this beauty can be transferred to any dance floor.

DJ Linus' Elbenland Remix is a warmer deep house cut. Quirky low-end licks, intricate twists and turns, and subtle synths build to create this spellbinding number. The introduction of a clever new vocal makes this one really stand out. The whole production is truly unique and has been designed to slot in perfectly with any house set. This will be huge!

The Darran Nugent Remix is a super bright cut with one hell of a bassline, all neatly packaged together in Darran's trademark sound. The remix features incredible breakdowns and excellent use of the original vocal samples. We love this remix, and you will too.

Dark, hypnotic and atmospheric may be the best way to describe the Arron Hunter Remix. The track overall captures a sense of nightfall. Sundown, heads down, deep, heavy grooves. Another deep cut from Arron with a variety of subtleties that come together in another beautiful track.
