Next up on Oscillate Records is a debut from the Liverpool duo 'Love N Coda'.
Up first on the package is the original of 'Pied Piper', a track with cutting highs, dubby kick drums, melodic winds, and atmospheric synths. It shuffles into its peak with soulful vocals, layered claps and offshoots from its breakdown into what is most definitely a unique and functional house cut with a distinctive edge.
Arron Hunter takes 'Pied Piper' and adds more of a techy structure however, keeps many of the original elements, including the vocal samples, whilst subtly rearranging the placements of the melody. This remix takes the original and reinterprets it into an equally impressive deeper rework that builds in intensity as it progresses.
The Company Is Family remix takes the original track into the realms of pumping deep house by reworking its melodic arrangements, delivering an instantly driving interpretation.
The Acolyte Remix rounds off the four-track package with a textbook breaks vibe. Rising melodies, intricate drum patterns and quirky nuances lead the way before the high-hats move the track into its breakdown. A beautifully subby low end give way to the acid line and melodies as the track rolls into its peak.
