Returning to Steve Bug’s Sublease label, buraq drops two new heaters on the Scream & Shout release. The DJ, composer and producer from Zurich, Switzerland roars back with the follow up to I Don’t (2019) and Untold (2020) that dropped to great acclaim.

Title track Scream & Shout is a vibey deep burner - a solid kick is teased in and out, while crisp 808 percussion brings the groove. There’s a juicy, old school Kerri Chandler vibe to the track with a mutating synth lead and vocal sample.

Hey Hey treads a similar path - a deep and slinky groove gets under the skin and brings back the yearning for basement dancefloors - it’s two note melody is classic Chicago house and a timely reminder of better days.
