The next installment of the Senso Sounds Level series sees us hit edition 9 - with another exciting crop of artists to watch. 80 releases in and Senso continues to keep the quality at an almost unthinkable level - and here is yet more evidence. Level 9 is four cuts from four artists - starting off with Weltenstein, a DJ live act, classical concert pianist and producer based in Cologne. He brings us 'Chiapas' - a tough-as-nails techno roller with crisp percussion and an aggressive temperament. The Kech is a musician and DJ from Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. His 'Strong Liquid' track is a hypnotic, grooving tech cut that pulls you into its spell. The Russian artist Lie2you has been receiving a lot of support from techno royalty like Dubfire and Richie Hawtin, and here with 'Find The Way' we are blessed with an exceptional piece of highly dynamic techno, built for big systems and primed to hit hard. Last up is Roman Adam's trippy, spacy techno journey to outer space 'Dark Side of the Moon'. Inspired by the Senso back catalogue, Adam's track is the sound of him musing on the unknown, and imagining an exciting journey of discovery - a perfect fit for the label.
