Danny B, a promising newcomer based in Madrid pops up on Sublease Music for three tracks of raw grooves via the Suspect EP.
Drawing inspiration from a series of releases by German house legend Shed under the Wax moniker, Danny set to work creating these raw, underground house tracks using a Nord keyboard for the warm, analog vibes.
The title track is a gritty basement burner - giving off pure Detroit / Berlin rave vibes.
UK producer and DJ Gareth Cole, who just scored an underground hit with Courage on Sublease Music, offers up a remix which smooths out some of the edges to create a slinky deep house track.
The third track is Trust - a more stripped down affair that builds into a warm and atmospheric cut with a fully dancefloor-primed groove.
