Originally from Ukraine but firmly embedded in the rich seam of talent that continues to generate a wealth of artists for the Israeli underground dance scene, Roman Brisker is an iconic name. Now radiating his musical prowess as a solo artist, Brisker begins a new chapter in a compelling book.
Together with his production partner, Igal Magitman, the duo has created a jewel-encrusted catalogue that continues to shine brightly within the modern dance arena. A global phenomenon that has seen him traverse the globe with gigs across the continents – from Japan and Brazil to Canada and mainland Europe – Brisker created a name for himself wherever he performed, captivating audiences with spell-binding live sets. In tandem, a production career has seen Brisker feature on some of the industry’s finest imprints as Baroque, Audiotherapy and Tribal Vision have all played host to a host of meticulously crafted productions. Indeed, it was with the latter that “Just Another Day” album was released in 2010 to critical acclaim.
Music featuring for Sony PlayStation as well as an appearance on Hernan Cattaneo’s ground-breaking “Sequential” compilation for Renaissance, has continued to see Brisker at the epicentre of underground dance for over a decade. With his music supported by a global DJ glitterati including Pole Folder, Ricky Ryan, Matt Darey and Cattaneo himself, Brisker has seen his influence continue to grow across a world stage. The formation of Mode Rhythm Records marked significant moment in Roman Brisker’s history that has already seen the label make an impact with releases from co-founder, Magitman. Now debuting his renowned talents as a solo artist, Brisker debuts on Mode Rhythm Records.
