Dylan Andrew

Dylan Andrew is a dynamic producer and DJ of techno, minimal and progressive genres, based in San Diego/Los Angeles. He was one of the leading members of Tribe Out West, and currently heads Tech Support, a collective with monthly residencies at Kava Lounge in San Diego and Pattern Bar in downtown Los Angeles. He is an avid supporter of his house and techno extended family, investing and believing in local artists in Southern California, who share his passion and appreciation for telling stories and providing the soundtrack to memorable nights.

Over the past year, Dylan has refined his talent and propelled his artistry to the next level. “Thump” has firmly established his presence in the underground communities of Southern California and has continued on to captivate audiences abroad. Dylan has been honored to share his sound at music festivals and nightclubs across the US, as well as in Mexico, Costa Rica, Iceland, and Ireland. He aspires to continue to combine his obsessions of music and world travel, as an artist. His sets are deliberate, impassioned stories told through his favorite tracks, with an identifiable sound that is contagious, with seductive and dark undertones coupled with melodic synths, arpeggiated sequences, and cosmic elements. It is clear from taking in one of his sets that Dylan Andrew truly cherishes the opportunities to share his music with those who are mutually enamored with house and techno, and the dance music community as a whole.

After diving into production of his own original music over the past two years, Dylan has made his electrifying and sensual sets even more of a story of his own. He plans to release several EPs over the next six months under Dylan Andrew, as he transitions from marketing himself as Donald Thump - a satirical moniker from the days when Trump was a reality television spectacle/embarrassment, which he acknowledges has since become less funny with each day of the current presidency. Dylan continues to elevate and fortify his potential to reach new heights with his sound and his mission to spread his love through music.
