Dylan Griffin

Over the last decade, Dylan Griffin has established himself as a key figure in Australia’s club realm. Equally comfortable working behind-the-scenes or commanding a prominent position, Dylan’s passion, industry knowledge and technical prowess has lead to him representing, and playing for, many leading electronic music associations from Australia’s east coast.

Dylan is long-standing resident DJ and record label manager for Sydney institution Subsonic Music, who he has been affiliated with since well before the launch of the organisation’s flagship festival at Barrington Tops in 2009. Since relocating to Melbourne some years ago, Dylan has established himself as one of the state’s foremost DJs, building on his experience playing at interstate festivals like Earth Frequency, Eclipse, Peats Ridge and Subsonic and by throwing down at Victorian festivals like Rainbow Serpent Festival and Let Them Eat Cake. As well as headlining shows in Australia, India and Thailand, Dylan has demonstrated his versatility as a DJ playing directly before or after the likes of international heavyweights such as Max Cooper, Gabriel Ananda, Rodriguez Jr., Francis Harris, The Orb, Boris Brejcha, Simon Baker, Kosmas Epsilon, David Keno, Philip Bader, Azimute, Cesare vs. Disorder and many more.

Dylan is also the founder and host of the renowned podcast series, AU Underground, which is dedicated to uncovering and sharing quality house and techno from disparate corners of Australia. This creed defines Dylan as a staple of Australia’s club culture and a man committed to introducing listeners to an eclectic assortment of club-focused cuts. Dylan regularly DJs at Melbourne’s clubbing institutions such as Piknic Electronik, Revolver, Brown Alley, Killing Time and New Guernica amongst many others, while he complements his weekend DJing by hosting a weekly slot on Melbourne radio station Kiss FM and honing his production.
