Lucid Distraction

Lucid Distraction has long developed a passion for electronic music coming from the UK, Chicago, Detroit, and Berlin areas. As a DJ since 2010, he has developed an ear for a very dynamic sound, ever evolving, but still staying true to it’s roots.

Far from the traditional his style can be characterized as a progressive take on the electro, house, break, ghetto tech, and other genres incorporating driving baselines along with acidic synths and grooving drums. He does not feel tied to just one genre. Lucid can be a bit of a wildcard and jack of all trades with unique and vast vibes surfacing in his releases.

Deciding to branch out and start realizing his own productions in 2019, he has strayed far from the traditional and 2023 seems to be finding him placement on forward thinking labels throughout the world. He has also started his own electronic music collective, party, and mix series based in Downtown Los Angeles called Native Boundaries.

He has spun legendary LA staples such as Sound Nighclub, The Viper Room, Pattern Bar, Lokels Only, and many more.
