Richard Elcox

With fond memories of experimenting with his brothers Korg MS-20 at the age of 11, it is no surprise that Richard Elcox was drawn to the world of electronic music from an early age. After swapping his native Scotland for Berlin in 2005 he began to orientate himself around its inspiring techno scene and in 2009 he co-founded the Vergissmeinnicht collective with his DJ partner Maroq. Rich & Maroq have performed in venues like Bar 25 (B), Hive (CH), Secret Island Festival (SE), Kater Holzig (B) Sisyphos (B), Kiste Baden (CH) and much much more, as well as starting the first Vergissmeinnicht club nights and open airs.

2012 he teamed up with Dirty-Room to release the track Archipelago on the Secret Island Festival Compilation (Darek). Today Richard Elcox is highly regarded for his production talents, having applied his skills to the music of numerous artists over the years. With the studio as his second home, he is always quietly cultivating, refining and developing his craft.
