Cr2 Records was founded in 2004 by Credence Records’ main man and one half of MYNC, Mark Brown. Since launching, Cr2 has become a house music institution; boasting releases from some of the biggest names in house, techno and EDM including Eric Prydz, Steve Angello, East Everything, Nic Fanciulli, Paul Woolford, Carl Cox, Fedde Le Grand, Deadmau5, Carl Cox, Gerd Janson, CamelPhat, David Penn, Dimitri From Paris and Josh Butler to name a few. The weekly Cr2 Live & Direct radio show hosted by Mark Brown is now in its 6th year. Syndicated to more than 70 stations across 40+ countries worldwide, to an estimated 15 million
listeners each week, the show has become a staple part of the label with a faithful following of fans. Each episode consists of a varied selection of current electronic and dance music hand picked by Mark Brown, compilation mini mixes plus exclusive guest mixes and interviews with artists.
Alongside the record label, Sample Tools by Cr2 is the music production and education division providing tools for all levels of electronic music production, through the delivery of exceptionally crafted packs from a select team of producers from around the globe. Since launching in 2014, Sample Tools by Cr2 have proven themselves as market leaders - having released more than 150 sample packs covering multiple genres on all of the major online retailers, as well as driving exciting collaborative projects with some of the biggest production brands in the world including AKAI, Native Instruments, Korg and Fader Pro.
