Tronic is one of the most established and longest-running techno labels in the world. Founded in 1994 by Christian Smith while he was attending University, the label now has over 430 releases under its belt.
Christian and his team have paved the way for many artists including ANNA, Dosem, Wehbba, and more recently Drunken Kong. Tronic's main philosophy is simple: nonpurist, honest, house and techno. The label has released countless of artist albums and is regularly supported by the top players in the industry. Some outstanding releases have been Christian Smith's remixes of Carl Craig's seminal 'At Les" song, which has become one of the biggest vinyl sales releases of the past decade.
Other notable releases and remixes came from Laurent Garnier, and Underworld. The weekly Tronic Radio show is being syndicated on over 120 stations worldwide and has had over 500 shows.
With regards to events, Tronic has had a successful 15-week season in Ibiza at the 3000-capacity Eden super club, while also hosting arenas at established festivals, and doing over 100+ club events worldwide from Tokyo to London, Sao Paulo, and Detroit.
